WDSF AGM

New Zealand was represented at the recent WDSF AGM held in Singapore by delegates Sandra Maxfield and Jenny Lamb with Harry Raiend attending as observer. Two very long days of meetings covered a large number of motions and the elections for the positions in the new format for the Presidium. More information can be found on the WDSF website.


WDSF ID CARDS

The cost of a WDSF ID card has increased from 1 July and will be for a 12 month period.


CHANGES TO COMPETITION RULES

DANCESPORT NEW ZEALAND LICENSES

ATHLETE LICENCE

Athlete Licenses are required for athletes wishing to dance in all DanceSport New Zealand registered competitions and are compulsory for athletes wishing to dance in all Dancesport Australia and International events.
Please complete the Online Licence Application Form (updated 4/2/17) and submit it to the Sports Officer.
Alternatively, you can print and email (or post) the above Online Licence Application Form.


WDSF ID CARD

Dancing in a WDSF event in Australia, New Zealand or Internationally?

You will need a WDSF ID Card. The card will be needed to compete in the any WDSF events. More information see WDSF ID-Card Info and WDSF ID-Card Form





OFFICIAL LICENCE

Official Licence is required for Coaches, Adjudicators, Chairman or Adjudicators and Scrutineers wishing to officiate in all DanceSport New Zealand registered competitions.

WDSF AND WDSF PD LICENCE

As the WDSF member body, it is the responsibility of Dancesport New Zealand to nominate New Zealand Adjudicators to become WDSF Adjudicators.
In order to be nominated, individuals must apply and be granted a current Dancesport New Zealand Adjudicators Licence. Please complete the Application Form to apply.

Membership

Membership to Dancesport New Zealand is through the Regional Member bodies.
Membership to your local Regional DanceSport Association is included in your licence fee.
