WDSF ID CARD

Dancing in a WDSF event in Australia, New Zealand or internationally?

You will need a WDSF ID Card. The card will be needed to compete in the WDSF Open events at the Australiain Dancesport Championships in Melbourne in December this year. More information here and here

DanceSport Jurisdiction in New Zealand

This article attempts to explain sport governance and how it relates to dancesport.
It also seeks to dispel some myths being circulated in the New Zealand on some social network sites.

Athletes Licence

Athlete licences are required for athletes wishing to dance in all DanceSport New Zealand registered competitions and are compulsory for athletes wishing to dance in all Dancesport Australia and international events.
Please download the form below and send to the Sports Director, contact details given at the bottom of the form.

Membership

Membership to Dancesport New Zealand is through the Regional Member bodies.
Membership to your local Regional DanceSport Association is included in your licence fee.
You can find links to each of the Regional associations on the links page.
