Athletes Licence

As the WDSF national member federation for New Zealand we issue DanceSport New Zealand Athlete Licenses. All athletes holding this licence are sanctioned to dance in WDSF championships for New Zealand, and within all other jurisdictions requiring approval from DanceSport New Zealand (DNZ).
If you would like to apply for a licence, please either contact your local regional DNZ body or contact the Sports Officer.

All athletes licensed with DNZ must abide by the anti-doping regulations of World Dancesport Federation (WDSF) as well as DrugFreeNZ. Details of the rules can be found at the Drugfree Sport New Zealand website. There is also a fantastic site of anti-doping information and resources for athletes here.
